Mixed Seasons Of Life

Mixed Seasons Of Life

Happiness can be as close as the sun in the sky ,

You reach for it, but can't touch,

Feel it, you need it, but it passes you by,

So walk the line of life in search , wishing for luck,

Look toward the sky just in time to receive a dove,

It turns out to be a crow, then the sun disappears to bring snow,

The cold numbs my limbs and my physical body has froze,

My mind then wonders out of my body with the breeze of the wind on the go,

I twist and turn, float high, then low light like lent from a pocket or the scent from a meadow,

I drift into memory lane , merge to my past,

Savor my dream feelings and wonder where my life went,

My sadness has felt pain, and my love has lasted,

Through all my my faults of life, my earthquake has yet to prove more powerful than peace.

The mist of courage flows boldly through my body, but held down by concert hate,

Released by the power of faith, The world is now dark,

Its time to give the blind eyes a key to the gate of light.
