Moments Make Reality

By Tony DeLorger © 2012

To savour a moment is to live in awareness,

to indulge the sense of being in the now,

not invest in the contentions of past or future,

but to live open within the experience of life.

Each moment holds the key,

every feeling, understanding and conclusion,

a mystical web of treasured experience

that weaves the fabric of existence.

Moments of joy, sorrow and enlightenment,

forge a path of understanding,

through the complexity and intricacy of life,

each one a silken message of truth.

With every second of life there is a challenge,

a choice of movement that is our future,

and with every moment the opportunity to learn,

to surrender to the power of a loving heart.

Each moment holds the potential of the divine,

the spark of possibility that is ours to unleash,

to fall upon a harsh and thoughtless world,

to enliven the path of love.

Moments make reality,

each one a tender and enticing tribute to possibility,

and the course of this gift we so easily take for granted,

this gift of life.

Thanks you so much mbyL,TToobms08,Leslie,Debbie and Phoebe. I'm working over 12 hours a day presently and my writing capacity reduced as a result. Don't have much time but I appreciate your kind words.

too true, tony - that we take that which is most precious - for granted - sometimes until it is far too late..having had a couple near death experiences - i try to appreciate what i have every day - as it says in my profile..interestingly enough! Love your understanding..
