Moonlit Love

Updated on February 7, 2011

I found this poem in a notebook I wrote over 20 years ago. I planned to give it to someone special but never could. Our lives moved on, going in separate ways, as those times together were like flying with Angels wings.

It’s nice to be loved,

Especially when told.

How lovely you look,

As I behold.

As the sun grows dark,

Turning to night.

You light the way

With your heavenly sight.

Managing etiquette,

Under the moon.

We’ll ravish each other,

In a unifying tune.

We’re miles away,

Yet so close.

Embracing our love,

To the utmost.

Lovely. It's fun finding previous works, isn't it? Thanks for sharing. Just in time for Valentine's Day.
