Intimacy Between Spock's Logic and My Attention Deficit

Updated on July 23, 2017

Whimsical, happy, spiritual, informative, and/or nonsensical singsong lyrical poems, metaphors, prose, rhymes, and short stories.

Spock is logical and grounded, whereas, I am a dreamer and tend to float amongst the stars, often stopping by the moon in order to refuel my moon-glow tank.

Attention Deficit Disorder

Spock is always calm,

cool, and in-check;

Yet, I have an ongoing

Focus and Attention Deficit.

His memory is spotless,

immpecable, and never suspect;

But, I need to take constant notes,

or else nothing will I ever recollect.

Maturation

Spock is attentive to details,

and admired with great respect;

However, my thoughts wander,

everywhere, and do not often connect.

Realization

With his Missions, he has

continuous successful affect;

And he guides me, so that the Mission

details, I do not accidentally forget.

Spock is dedicated to his every goal,

and each one, he will loyally protect;

But, my mission is Spock, himself,

and it is him, whom I will never neglect!

      Thank you, Galaxy! Yes, I like these two characters, as well. I also like Chewbaca on Star Wars. (Oops, Spock is giving me "the look")... :-)

      Thank you, Dora :-) Your words to me are very kind. Spock is giving me one of his "logical looks", again. It makes me melt.

      Well, I am so honored by your very encouraging comment to me, Dream On! And, your comment is also very beautifully written as only a poet, such as yourself, could aspire to write.

      The morning mist is one of my favorite things to experience, and is all-together very lovely; mysterious, spontaneous, and free is a wonderful rhythm in which you possess!

      I am so grateful to know you, and to be a part of watching your inspiring journey thru your breathtaking words.

      Great big hugs to you, my dear friend :-)

      Excellent... loved your convo with Spock. My fave Star Trek character is a tie between Scotty and McCoy. :) Cheers!

      Your powerful energy is like a laser beam it can be seen at great heights. My energy comes in and out like like the mist in the morning. It's one place then another and not sur how long it will last or when it will return. Thank you for always sharing and caring.

      Thank you, dearly, Manatita. Spock is on a Mission, right now, which requires a Doctorate Degree, so I did not go with him on this one. I am keeping R2-D2 company for awhile because C3PO went with Spock on the mission.

      Funny at times but not the ADHD. I know it's a problem for many. Is Spock still around? Your pics are cute cute.

      LOL, your comment made me laugh about the Lifetime Movie... I am glad you enjoyed your visit into the dwellings of mine, and dear Spock's life. You are always welcome. Perhaps R2-D2 will come along, too. I do hope so!

      Thank you for your lovely comment!

      It was, as John said, a fun read. You have the most expressive face. I was fascinated by the photos.....I could see you on one of those Lifetime movies.

      So pleased you like this, Jodah! Thank you for letting me know. Yes, opposites are definitely that which Spock, and I, are made. But, we seem to balance each other out very well. I truly admire him for his characteristics which I don't possess. Sometimes these same traits get on my nerves, too! I am quite sure he has come to the same logical conclusion on this, as I have (of course, I came to this result via my emotional intensity; no logic was used, whatsoever with me; it never is). LOL...

      This was a lot of fun to read, Tamara. Opposites usually compliment each other. My wife and I are very similar. Thanks for sharing. Love the pics with captions too.
