Everybody at our church calls her 'Akka' or 'Akki' which means Elder sister
Young and old alike, it has become a part of her name
She has short layered with a touch of red tints on her hair
She's has been the organizer of so many young peoples' events.
She speaks words of life to all whom she meets
As she believes not in a statue but in a God who is alive and speaks to her
She's a full time ministry worker who had built her own up stair house
She strive to live a holy life pleasing to God as a spinster.
She's a big sister to her younger sister next door
Who is having cancer as she takes care of her children
The two boys whom she's so much fond of
Teaching them and discipline them in godly principles.
She's methodical, clean, neat and very much organized
She cooks her grandma's menu with her touch of her own
She's caring and concerned about the well being of others
Now she's less serious and fun to hang around.
She loves to do shopping and even marketing
She enjoys cooking as she tries out so many recipes on her own
She makes sure everything is balanced and nutritious
As she practice what she had learnt at school.
She gives a good listening ear and advice
But I always thought that she has a secret antenna
As she would share what my mom has already shared with me
Specially when it comes to taking serious life decisions.
She had a big dog whom she loved so much
He had died and she was totally broken by it
Then she had a nice tortoise, a visiting cat and a fish
Even a cute squirrel who chewed her ears.
She has been a great blessing in my life
I did Sunday school teaching as she encouraged me
She's my sister in Christ whom I care and appreciate
So I pray God to look after her everyday.

Introduction
I wrote this poem for my birthday which I thought to publish only today. Since I was very young I was very happy knowing that I'm special and valuable to Jesus Christ and He loves me :)

Today as I celebrate my birthday
Wondered what I’m going to write today
Every breath that I have taken until this day
Not forgetting the days which I have forgotten to pray
The Only One True Love that surrounded me all day
Yearned and called me to His side from going astray.
Every time whenever I failed I tried to avoid as much as I can
Isolating my-self from all the people was my best plan
Good News that I heard been making changes to my inner-man
Healing me daily by giving me strength to face my fears as I began
This journey seems to be full of surprises as I walk in His marvelous plan.
Young and old alike are fond of me as concerned about me
Encouraging me with words, also being there just to boost up my energy
Amazing Christ touching sinners to grow in faith of His nature
Repentance in Christ brought the gift of Salvation for my Heavenly future
So I cherish and rest in knowing God’s provision as He cultivates my nature.
Yes, it has been a wonderful day filled with so many thoughtful gifts and wishes
Overwhelmed by so much of love, care, hugs and kisses
Unworthy I became a blessing that’s so precious
Not only to my family but whoever came to be my valuable riches
Good God has created me especially for Him to be in love so precious.
