Murky Waters

Far from the cacophony of human clatter,

in the shadows of silence and at the brink of anticipation,

a soul considers place and relevance within a tentative existence.


Knowing only that it resides within a vessel, transitory,

a soul blindly feels for recognition within this dark womb,

seeking any form of light that it may ascend to human consciousness,

and nourish this bland and fragile shell that is humanity.


Lost in the half memories of conscious past,

a soul seeks freedom, ever within the base human experience,

to realise potentials and feed the possible enrichment of a heart in growth,

a mind in quandary, seeking answers.


The murky waters of primordial beginnings infest the shell,

the swill of animal refuse the challenge of a soul seeking light,

struggling to find a path to redemption and awareness.


When the soul finally finds a path to human consciousness,

it empowers the shell with wisdom and knowledge of true nature,

aligning all that is dream to the possibility of realisation.


When a soul is accepted mentally, accepted for all that it is,

the human vessel is enlightened and transformed into a higher state,

an understanding that potential is simply choice not just possibility.


When a soul’s carriage is through awareness,

empowerment is miraculous and without limit,

ineptitudes of the past now gifts of learning and progression.


In the silence of a soul bathed in the light of freedom,

there is an abundance, a limitless joy and love for life,

a perfect amalgam of acceptance and potential.


Through the murky waters a soul ascends to assimilate with its vessel,

and in acceptance finds beauty in all that is.
