Musings of a "Snow-Flake"

Updated on March 3, 2011
Source

i love to walk in new born snow
leaving icy footprints as I go
to taste the snowflakes in the air
and sample winter banquet's fare.

I love to watch in wonderment
each snowflake's dance of sweet descent
to feel the touch of frosty blow
caress my cheeks, set them aglow.

I love to glide on Nature's wing
Her beauty makes my spirit sing.
in awe i ponder God's sweet show
and love to walk in new born snow.

What a beautiful poem! I have only seen real snow a handful of times and I am now longing to take a trip up north.

Epi, I am so glad to see you! I had to sneak over to your hub for a dose of Epi-lure cause I missed ya! I am afraid I am a free spirit, and would have a hard time at Hallmark...but its a lovely thought...and your words, kind sir, make writing worth it!

What epigramman says is so true--you could put these poetic musing on cards and people would scoop them up--my favorite line is "I love to glide on Nature's wing; her beauty makes my spirit sing! Made my day--this one!! Thank you, Tnderhrt23 DA

....you could write easily and get paid for it as a greeting card consultant for Hallmark with lovely evocative words like that - you make life and living - well, worth living!!!!!

Brrr...I love that, too! Just think we've had a lot of it over the last month or so. I'm fed up of being cold now - roll on Spring and Summer. Nice poem.
