My Angel Chey

Updated on January 28, 2017

I am so thankful that I was able to love you

Even though your time was short on this earth,

I will always remember you

Your cuddly, soft body,

Those super, sloppy wet kisses

The way you always looked like you where smiling

Especially when you knew I was upset

All the times you would greet me at the door,

like every time you saw me was the first time

You touched my heart with all your loving kindness

Which is why I think I am taking your loss so hard

You was almost like a child to me

You struggled all the way down to your very last breath,

Like you were afraid to leave me

You even cried when I tried to leave the room

I hated to see you in so much pain,

At least now I know your at peace

Hopefully you will always remember me

I will always miss and love you,

You are now my angel Cheyanne

I feel your agony. It can rip one apart. Yet, Chey is no longer suffering. Perhaps he, and many others are only waiting on us with their unrelenting love and tails wagging.

He still lives in your heart, and always will! God Bless!

I couldn't watch your video for too long as I started crying. I hope soon you'll allow another loving pet into your heart.

      Voted up and beautiful, Joyce.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Animals are so honest, so if they love you, you know it's not a lie. But you already know this, I can tell.

Our pets are so faithful, a great example for us. We miss them so much when they are gone from us.

So sorry for your loss of Chey. He looked like such a sweet companion. I lost my cat a few years back, still remember how much he enriched our lives.

So sorry for your loss. Chey is in a much better place and chasing butterflies in Heaven's fields. Don't worry they never really leave you. Chey is right there with you and if you think about it hard enough you may even feel her presence. She was lovely. I lost a lovely female cat Cha-Cha. She died in my arms. For quite a long time I heard her pouncing in the window. I felt her tail along my bare legs. When we adopted our lovely male cat Sid she realized she didn't have to worry about us and that she would remain in our hearts so the visits stopped. However before they stopped I could tell Sid had seen her. It was amazing and to this day I still cross myself when I go out in the garden to our large oak where she is buried.

Oh, I am so sorry for you loss dear one. This reminds me of our childhood dog, Brownie, who only had three legs, and we just loved him so much. We actually grew up with him, and so we were blessed to him have throughout our whole childhood. I know you will miss Chey no doubt. God bless you. In His Love, Faith Reaper

I hope this poem helps you get closure. I have an older greyhound who is starting to fail, so I am preparing myself now.
