My Confession: A First Step To My Own Redemption!

Updated on August 7, 2013

Nothing remains the same
blue skies cloudy
with rain
gentle breeze violent wind
joyous tingling
stinging pain
No suprise
No disguise
Over my head no flies
in bloom no violets to idolize
It was a game
And no shame
You threw a dice
and you won a life
Hooray!
congratulations!!!

It’s life
and this is my destiny
I am the only one to blame in your eyes
for being so dumb in a battle
fought in vain,
The only one to cast in a bottle and
away thrown into an ocean
like a boogie-man ,Bin laden!!
for being spinning
round for long
with tortured sight
in an empty void.

It’s life
and this is my destiny
empty cold bed with restless nights
never cease to pile up
are what I deserve
after the tide receded and
the moon no more mounted the waiting sky
of a deepening blue-green world.

It’s life
and this is my destiny
You threw a dice
and you won a life and
a cheap bouquet of sweet-smelling
soon-will-wither roses.

enjoy!
have a blast!!!
Cheeeeers!!
That rough and tumble thing
you picked up from a screen
when I was offline,
one day will shrink and lose power
to make your heart pound
head swim
blood boil
thoughts race
body scream
It was a plug to hook inbetween
you sought in me
a time to kill till your personal Jesus
blobbed on the canvas to make messy pastel colours
and still stagnant pool moving in hues

It’s life
but not my destiny
from now and on
my dear anymore
girls come and go
you know that
in every spot you set your eyes on
you bump into
perfect shapes and
swaying hips
enough to resurrect oregon holly grapes
in any barren landscape.

I will stop now disturbing
the blizzard white page
with these inky black
footprints of the
minotaur
lost long enough in a pit of
French grief Chagrin and let go of
pick a day out of blue,
randomly,
spontaneously
and tactfully
make it anew ,if not in reality
just in retrospect
as a first step to my own redemption.

Strong words well written, the second step always follows the first. Jamie
