My Dislike for Politicians: a Satirical Poem
A lizard mocked another crawling fellow
for having those protruding ugly eyes
and for his skin flaky and dirty yellow
all until his water image gave him a surprise.
So I wonder how revealing it might be
if every politician read this fable
maybe he would be willing to suddenly see
his own true image in his shiny table.
And how grotesquely look those other faces
sitting around and busy with group lying
a bunch of lizards crawling in high places
a prehistoric breed that just refuses dying.
Careerism of a surely ugliest kind
based on pretense, cajole and deceiving
a source of knowledge of every duped mind
and of all fallacious collective believing.
I find them both amazing and amusing
at timers almost prone to give them an applause
for being so crafty and skilled at their confusing
while presenting their game as a justified cause.
