My Favorite Writing Sites

Updated on August 19, 2015

Introduction

If you enjoy writing, there are several different websites where you can make money writing. In this hub I will provide some information a few sites I write for, including the types of content that you can write for these sites, and how you make money writing for these sites.

Triond

Triond gives you the opportunity to write articles on topics you love - if you don't have any ideas, you can check out the "Hot Content" or "Top Search Phrases" sections of your home page. You can also make additional income by allowing Google to display ads on your articles - you earn additional income for every click on those ads, so promoting your content is important, as well as adding followers. One important thing to note, however, is that Triond works best in Firefox. You can type your articles in Internet Explorer, but when you submit your articles you have to use Firefox - for some reason Internet Explorer doesn't work.

Hubpages

Hubpages is another great place to publish articles about subjects you like to write about. I like Hubpages because it's different from either of the other two sites I mentioned earlier. The hubs are more like home pages because you can include other types of content in addition to text and pictures. Hubs are also easy to update - I update my main hubpage, "My Work from Home Journey," with new capsules whenever I publish a new post on Work at Home Adventures. Hubpages also gives you the opportunity to make money off your hubs with Google Adsense, and if you sell products on Ebay you can advertise those on your hubs as well.

Article Document

When you sign up as a writer with Article Document you start out as a blogger, writing blogs on different subjects for which you're paid revenue share income. Blog posts must be a minimum of 300 words, and must contain the keyword phrase specified in the description three times - no more, no less. Once you've increased your writer level from a 5 to an 8, you're also given the option of writing journalist assignments. These assignments are longer, and you're paid a fixed amount for these assignments, rather than being paid based on the number of views. Journalist assignments may also have more than one keyword phrase that needs to be included, and most journalist assignments have a minimum and a maximum number of times the keyword phrase or phrases must be included. I like Article Document because editors provide helpful feedback, and because articles are accepted or rejected quickly - usually within 72 hours.

Conclusion

These are just a few of the writing sites out there - there are many others. You can see some of the writing I've done on these sites, as well as find links to other work at home blogs that have information on other writing sites, on my man hubpage, My Work from Home Journey.
