My Feelings Tonight For My Husband

Updated on April 3, 2016

My Feelings Tonight

Tonight I need you, and you aren't here.

Tonight I need you, but not out of fear.

Tonight I want you so very much.

Tonight I love you, but I have a hunch.

Tonight you know, deep down, in your soul.

Tonight you look into my eyes, and my feelings show.

Tonight I tried to put into words, what my heart feels.

Tonight the words wouldn't form, my lips are like they've been sealed.

Tonight all I can do is look into your eyes, and pray you feel this way too.

Because tonight you have made me into your own, it's true.

Without even being here, the seeds have been sown.

Because tonight I realized, my love for you is much deeper than I thought.

I miss you dear, even though I have sought.

To think of other things, your face I still see.

Everywhere I look, you, are there staring back at me.

I see you all day, everywhere, even at night, in my dreams.

I think of you all the time, constantly it seems.

I can't stop loving you, I have tried to, so very hard.

If I lost you today, my heart would surely starve.

Your love is the only food, my heart seems to need.

Without it my heart will, shrivel up like a small seed.

My heart, to you will, always, and forever be true.

Thank you ubanichijioke. My husband and I try to keep our love fresh as we grow older. We believe the longer we are together the better and stronger our love grows.
