My Impulse

Updated on August 12, 2014

Out Of Touch

There are many reasons for the things we do

It could be a past experience that we have enjoyed

So we repeat it over and over again

To bring back that happiness

Maybe it's a belief that doing something a certain way

Will bring us to our destination

In this way it is not something we have done before

It is a belief in ourselves that if we keep on following the same path

We will achieve our ultimate goal

Extreme happiness is that feeling I shoot for

I work every day in a systematic fashion

Taking what we do know

Then taking what we don't know

Mixing them together to bring about a change

This change is not just in our lives

But a change in the world

So other people may accept the idea of being tried and true

Some people do little in their lives because it is the easiest way out

Making their life more simple with less effort

I have yet to meet the person who says make my life harder

So I have to really think

I have to pool all my resources to solve the problem

We live in a world where everyone is looking for the quick answer

On lookers give their own comment

Good job keep up the good work

I don't know what you are doing

I am willing to listen

Then after hearing my explanation

I now understand what you are trying to do

I am not sure if you can even find someone

That would do what you do

All I can say

I will keep trying to make things happen

With a positive attitude and desire

I worked for the past nine hours straight

Now my body is all sore

My mind is mush

I did what I set out to do

Working everything in my mind first

Then following with precise action

I will keep looking for fresh results because of my effort

How long do I have to wait ?

There is no guide line to follow

It could be one day or years

I might have to do what I did

All over again

Off to sleep now

I am totally exhausted

Gypsy Rose Lee I really love your explanation. My mind and body sometimes feel separate. I have to have cooperation from both and it is not always easy. My body says why? When we can work a little and just squeak by like cramming for a test. After the test is over nobody cares. You found a way to do what you had to do. It doesn't make a difference in the great world. Their always going to be problems and temporary solutions until the next problem pops up. Relax kick back don't take life to seriously and have fun. Don't stress out and don't try to be extraordinary. Just be average and live until we die. My brain thinks differently. Work on everything with great speed and apply all your abilities to do everything the best you possibly can every time. When you fall short find out why and make improvements until you do better. Never mind what most people do because they don't apply themselves. if you follow them you will rarely succeed many times not even try. You have to focus on the few rare people who are an exception to the rule and make things happen. They create ways that other people don't think of and try and try to improve on the world. They know their contribution to society makes the difference in people lives. Many of these people they will never meet or know the impact they had on them. They know from a higher intelligence greater than their own this is what should be done. So torn between both worlds I constantly bounce back and forth. Enjoying the best of both worlds. Thank you so much for reading and sharing insight and all probabilities that we can imagine.

Reading this some thing came to mind. I once had a long and philosophical talk with a good friend. Our topic was suppose just suppose you had the chance to go back to a certain point in your life and start over again. Would that improve your life? Would things become better? We both agreed on one thing even if it was possible we would still go through all the same things because we learn as we go along and we learn from the mistakes we make. The second thing we agreed on was that it could never be possible to go back why? because you cannot reset time, centuries, things that have been done and are now gone, people who have died won't be resurrected in other word impossible. Conclusion - be happy and thankful for what you have, hold on to your dreams, continue to pursue the heights, never give up and one day you will be rewarded.

We all have different skills and talents some we don't find till late in life. Exploring different options give us a look inside our gifts and our imagination. Practice makes perfect. I found practice makes interesting days and nights. Still not sure what the future will hold but I do know it's different than anything I know. Thank you for reading and sharing. Have a beautiful day.
