My Legs Cramp But I Will Not Move

Updated on October 27, 2010

What Flavor Sucker Am I ?

I sit here with a kittn on my lap

Sh is so comfty

I want to get up and go pee

But I can't get the nerve to move her

So happy and satisfied

It is a kitten what difference does it make

Just get up and she will move

My back is starting to ache since i pulled out my chair and was ready to get up

How could I do this to poor Charlette who just had surgery

She had her belly open and spade yesterday

So no babbies for you sweetie

Just a wonderful kitten to stay happy

You have had it rough

I am sure

They put a cone on your head

And I could be rich if you went on Saturday night live

I try not to move

You finally went to sleep

The cone has to stay on for 10 to 12 days

The medicine I gave you

You through it all up

It is funny though as you hobble by off balance

Clicking the plastic as you go bye

Hitting everything you can possibly hit

Trying to loosen the bow my wife made

That holds your megaphone on so well

You got it off the first time

The vet didn't even try

You are a fiesty one

That tried everything you could

You practically stood upside down to try to shake your new plastic hood

Now you are calm and sweet

Becareful you don't roll to far

Your head is top heavy and your body can't stop you

As you dangle from my knee

Lifeless as a stuffed animal with some of your stuffing missing

You patch up nicely

just as good as new

I know what your thinking

Easy for you to say

You are not walking around with an upside down tower on your head

You come and go in every room

Where I can't jump because you bring me down all the time

I don't want you to get hurt

Yah thats why my belly was ripped wide

I was a good trooper

I only growled when the vet meant business

The funny business was my business

How can I trust you again

So I am going to lie on you and pretend I am a sleep

So you feel guilty and don't want to move

Good a little guilt is what you deserve

After you split me open like an apple cut in many pieces

You brought the cage up and I thought you wanted me to play

Thats a day I will not forget

You say I will be o.k.

I will survive

Your not the first cat that it was done too

Its time for my medicine

I can hear you talking

This thing around my neck

Is a miracle ear

I hear the littlest sound

As my ear drums start to pound

You caught me off guard

Sticking that ugly medicine down my throat

I will teach you as I throw it up

I run away in any direction

Where you can't get me

You now want to give me food

You are a Mr. Jekle and Mr.Hyde

For Halloween no doubt

You aren't getting me to come to my dish

I hear you say

I am going to wait till calms down

You have a case

I watch C.S.I. too you know

Better watch your back

I may be little but I can attack

Oh my dear friend how sweet this is, we love our gentle angels that God has sent down to take care of us. To teach us how to love, to protect, to share and have our companions right by our side. I love my kitty and my dog, they are my life and now we are a team. Rate up my friend...

Christopher Price The love we give them is such a small amount for the love they give us.I can't wait till the cone is off and she is running around happy. Thanks so much.

Doesn't it break your heart to leave 'em overnight after the "procedure"?

I would pay the price of a hotel room just to stay and be there when "my baby" wakes up. The whole process is traumatizing enough, but I just know that the worst part is that I'm not there when they wake up.

Oh well, they always seem to forget and forgive us...eventually!

Tough to be an animal lover ain't it!?!

      Good hub.
