Moon's Light

Life-song prayers

With Much Love, my Sweet

"Your Love-Song dreams and envisions..

Across the shimmering waves,

Made translucent by the kisses of the moon;

It streams towards the yearning of my Spirit,

Waltz’s with the breath of snow-flakes on a winter’s morn.

Flowing from Your snow-white Heart it glimmers,

Carrying the voice of a birth-right,

Awakening in the seeds of my longing,

Like the eagle, to be free.

In sweet Silence You play with the lyrics,

As Your zither weaves a merry tune;

Basking in the sweet symphony of my Soul.

All For His Glory

Your Love-Song praises… adulates with the eloquence

Of words, wafted by a bouquet of marigolds and dahlias;

Deeds so filled with beauty,

That they bring sight to the blind,

Inspire the mountains to bow and worship.

In unison they sing: “Halleluiah!”

Carving a prayer in my Soul so sacred,

That even dying dogs rise and play with zest;

Thy holy flames traverse the Universe, to cure all ails.

And so whether I sleep in the slums,

On the lap of hunger and poverty;

Or bathe only when the rain falls,

May Your Love-Song be so enthralling,

Doing all for the glory of Thy peerless dreams.

"That which has to be rejected, we reject.

"That which has to be transformed, we transform.

That which has to be transcended, we transcend.

In order to transcend, two things are necessary.

Personal effort and God's Grace." - Sri Chinmoy

"Be kind, be all sympathy,

For each and every human being,

Is forced to fight against himself." _ Sri Chinmoy.

      Ha ha Dee, Many of my poems are mystical. Hills sing all right. One simply has to listen. It is the pull of the Heart that feels... the mind grasps ...

      Thank you so much!

      I can only imagine the sound of singing hills. I close my eyes and enjoy it. Thanks for the sensual enjoyment you create with your words.

      Manatita, Manatita! Thank you for this beautiful dedication.....and response. Last night as I was outside picking some moringa, I looked up and noticed that the moon was perfectly framed by the branches of the moringa tree. I ran inside to get the camera, because I just had to capture that image. You started off your poem with the moon. How beautiful and prophetic is that.

      Such beautiful imagery and messages. My heart is so full.....and I absolutely love the song you chose. Casting Crowns is one of favorite groups.

      Thanks for the love and the encouragement! Powerful! Endearing! Far-reaching!

      Much love!
