My Million Dollar Mind

Updated on June 30, 2015

Let's Explore

Why is it ?

We take our most precious gift for granted ?

We are given so many opportunities

Time after time

We refuse to learn about our own brain

Guiding us through life at every turn

Constantly recalculating and formulating

The best possible solution

Examining millions of combinations

Problem solving at it's best

Reworking the safest and most practical approach

Original and new

Learning more than before

There is no limit

To what we can do

Sparklea Each day I am overjoyed with learning about our brain. So many people don't care and just want to check out their next post on Facebook. I agree with you on so many of your thoughts. Part of me says I have to change with the times to keep up with technology. So I am constantly fighting myself trying to find a happy medium. Thank you so much for creating and sharing.Michael- Milec All the magic is right in our own bodies. Instead people are looking everywhere else. So very nice to see your comment. Wishing you good health always.I hope you both have a beautiful night.

So true Michael, inexplicable sense of eternity is invested in mind and heart of each person, only if we start on positive an never turn back...

      Voted interesting.

Dream On: You are correct, there is no limit to what we can do. Sometimes I miss the days where libraries did not have computers, we just went to the index cards, schools did not have electric typewriters, offices had file cabinets. I recall a time when I was going to a chiropractor...they obtained a computer because that's what all the offices were doing. A few weeks later the computer was gone. She just used her appointment book and gave me a slip instead of a printout. I asked and she said they could not stand the computer it actually wasted more time. I agree with her. Making an appointment now is a song and dance...Don't even get me started on cell phones that I see in the stores used by toddlers! Went to a restaurant a few weeks ago and a father, mother and two teens were sitting at a table. The father sat there forlorn while the mom and the 2 kids were playing on their cell phones. Digital clocks, instead of regular ones...I could go on and on. Your poem is very profound and excellent. Short and to the point.

I STILL believe in intuition, love reading books and learning about things I am passionate for. I hope I am in eternity before books are eliminated forever. Thank you for this attention getting reminder about our brains being our greatest gift. God bless always, Sparklea :)

Our minds are the best computers ever made. Technology is advancing at a phenomenal rate and still can't match the ability we have to create and dream. Most people are busy using their I phones , I pads, tablets, laptops. Never considering developing our own minds abilities. Thank you for reading and sharing.
