My Mother's Name is Helen (Poem)

Updated on May 19, 2016

I cling inside you as the master gives me life

I cling to your strength as I step outside

I cling to your warmth from the very start,

I cling to your essence of such a perfect art,

I cling to your hands to keep me near,

I cling to your mind to understand,

I cling to your smiles to be freed from fear,

I'll cling to you, I'll never let go,

You are so dear to me, better than gold,

My love for you never grows old.

"Mother is the name of God on the lips of all children."

      Your profile says:

"A warrior because I'm a Christian :) though we don't fight with literal sharp spears and long swords, we fight with the strongest weapons there are, the Holy Spirit and the very words of God. We fight not to hurt or kill, but to bring healing and share the word of Life by leading them to our Savior JESUS. If God is for us who can be against us?"

We should teach our children not to fight, hurt or kill. If only fundamentalist Christians understood we are not to fight or hurt or kill.
