"My People"

The Sick

The Tired

The Weak

The Vain

The Trashy

The Sheik

The people living on land mines

Shouting out at pain

Wondering

Whats up with all this rain?

Dropping in the dirt, leaving us muddied together

No one is clean

Check yourself for spots

If ya ain't got one I don't trust ya

We are blemishes

Beautifully shining on this face

Wear your skin on it

Get out in the sun and get a thick tan

It'll repel death

Or bring it swooping down

Honey dipped

So far it's been a crazy trip

With my people

Laughing going light

Crying, showing dark red caves of bloodied hearts

Beating n bleeding for each other

Donating

Time

Energy

Love

To my people

Ballin our eyes out

Shooting for the stars

Air thrown up in ceremony

Splashing on nets

At sea

Sailing

Searching

Finding

My people

Landing on two feet

Smiling and rolling up their sleeves
