My Poem: "Your Letters from the Sea"

I love writing poetry and I consider it to be my passion. I put myself into everything that I write and I hope that readers feel that as they read my poetry. Here is one of my poems that I wrote back in 2009. I hope you enjoy it. Please leave some feedback when you are done. Much thanks.

An ink stained paper
With words lost in time
Flew onto the window
Of my darkening life.

The words were your story
Of your journey through time,
Of your days on that vessel
Slipping by from my life.

A skiff on a giant,
You waved your good-bye,
Got lost in the ocean,
Hid away from my eye.

And the memory of you
In the waters of ink
Are the stains I swim through,
To feel you, to think.
