My childhood aunt

In memory of my wondeful aunt

She was taught she was caring

she was all I ever wanted

during my childhood years

she was my guardian angel my

aunt of happiness

instilling me creativeness

in every possible way,

I could remember the touch of

her skin the color of her eyes

and her presence, as to her character

they were all the things I admired

of her even though she is not

with me anymore she will

always have a special place in

my heart and soul.

Oh Spotlight, this touched me so deeply. What a powerful tribute to your auntie. I got really choked up because I am Auntie Mama to my sisters two children because I am helping her to raise them. I hope someday when I leave this earth that they love me enough to write me something this beautiful. God Bless:)

Very beautiful tribute to your Aunt. Thank you. I had a special Aunt too, her name was Aunt Mary.

      Cheers

Very lovely tribute. Amazing how things inspire us and move us to write about them. Your aunt is still with you and always will be, you and she loved each other, that love can never die. You may not see her anymore but, she is there. Close your eyes and try and be still and think of her, in some way, somehow, she will let you know she is there. Once you can focus on her memory and the love you have for her, you will feel her, (I'm sure) My mother always comes to me when I'm at my lowest ebb. The ones we love who have passed on, never truly let us go.

A lovely tribute in prose to someone you so obvioulsy loved and who loved you.

Thank you for the follow, following you now too :)
