My Heart so Free...

Updated on September 3, 2013

While I walk along, there I glance

I hear a delightful song , perchance

a warbling tune, such a melody...

it set my mind and heart so free

A singer has never ...sang a song

with words and meanings...

that together belong

A painter only paints a scene

that belies such beauty ...from midnight dream

My soul takes flight from such a tune

a starry night, a silvery moon

From memories awake , the looking glass

wonderous thoughts, collected from the past

My Lord , My God...has shown to me

the beauty of a solitary...bird in a Tree

Hmmm.. very interesting .. I do understand what you mean about the dark .. the dark I knew was a life of drugs and knowing in my heart that I was hurting the ones who cared about me.. I had plenty of love in my life .but I always thought of love as a concept not a feeling ..(my logical mind).... maybe I don't understand love , that's why .. I am searching within myself for that which is buried so deep ... It only comes out as words.. to others it is expression.. I have there in a dark place .. and battle everyday to never go back there . Yours, I think I understand what it is .. and if you feel safe there then that is good.

Thanks for letting me get that out .!

I think that is the thing... I love it here in the dark. It is a different kind of calming beautiful. I don't have to search for light here, it glows here. One light does not get lost in another here. I am not lost.

Ideas are subjective... so the idea of love that you search for?

Mom's .. yes light is brighter in the dark .. but if you are in a dark place aren't you searching for the light... Let my words lift you up.. let me help you into the light .. writing is a release from the inner demons of what you feel . it is where I used to be myself.. but what do I really know fighting a day to day battle ... I am but a lowly poet ..also still searching for something .. it to me is the idea of love that i am searching for . ..whether it be found.. or I am destined to be on this constant quest ..only the Lord really knows..

What comes from me comes from dark and what comes from you seems to come from light... and as usual, light exists brighter in the dark. I suppose that makes your works a source of hope and faith for readers.

Mom's... thank you for the visit .. and the comment ..

Hmm. what do I see in your work.. ok ...

I see softness, loneliness, beautiful expression ... deep meanings

must I go on .. I often wonder why most like my works of passion , love and wonder ..

Are they not what makes up poetry or prose.. making the reader interpret what they want to see..even though it was not your meaning?

I just know that I like your writing .. it makes me wonder what is deep inside your mind to write with such passion and feeling.

Your writing emits light. How bright it is. Its a pleasure to read although it makes me wonder what you see in works by me.

my dearest Faith .. it seems so long since I last communicated with you .. Wow, the time between us passes as the sun sets and rises .. while nary a thought escapes me ...without wondering what you are doing..! I worry about you driving back and forth to work .. this highway is a dangerous place .. and I always beget a smile when I see that you have made it home safe .. only when I see a comment from you on my post or anothers .. only then can I sleep the sleep of the dreamers, who let their soul release as they take flight .. across the land ..to your windowsill hoping only for a glance of you .. a sleeping beauty.

Sweet dreams my dearest ..for tomorrow awaits your tasks, to keep spreading the joy and love you are known for and for He, who has put you on this earth to make all who come into contact with that beautiful smile and that awesome personality ..know they have experienced something special.

      Love ..

      Michael

      Dearest Michael,

I truly hope you realize your blessed gift of poetry.

Now, this is what I am talking about ... get to come home late after a hard day and long drive, and read such loveliness. This brought tears, for it is so very beautiful. Thank you. Always so nice to read something so beautiful at the end of a hard day.

      You're the best!

Up and more ...sharing, of course!

God bless you. In His Love Always, Faith Reaper (Tree)

Such beauty in the nature we see and the faith in God. Truly deep Michael. How fortunate you saw that sparrow! You know how to turn a word into a beautiful phrase.

      Voted up, awesome, and beautiful.

I like solitary birds in a tree. If they see my youngest dog, Jenny, time for them to fly off for another tree.

      Solitary is good.
