My hobby to Write Blogs
I like to Free Blog!
OK, so here I am, feeling a little snowed under since moving house, but after getting my computer set up on wireless Internet here, stressing with some sort of pop-up virus and in-between entertaining my new housemates I've begun to settle back into my writing pattern again! My one friend is currently out with his girlfriend and the other is playing football so I have complete silence and now I am able to let 'My hobby is Blogging' hub flow out of me instead of being upstairs in my head where ideas accumulate over the course of my hectic day!
I basically wanted to encapsulate in this article why I blog, other sites I use, things I've learnt and why others just don't understand why all of us here love writing online! I think I've touched a little on these issues in other articles, but this is going to summarize it completely and use my overall design to illustrate how I go about my writing routine.
Many of you here probably already use Blogger but I thought it would add depth to my article if I mention why I like using it as well as Hubpages. Hubpages I like because I find the community user friendly and easier to navigate, for instance, you can dive straight into a forum without needing to follow someone with you Google account sign-in, I just find it that little bit simpler here. I started on Hubpages first and I made an attempt at Blogger around the same time but hadn't built up my confidence to entertain at that stage. it is only now that I appreciate the 'design blog' aspect of Blogger, as you can see below, it allows you to decorate your blogs with a colourful background and you don't need to use capsules which is a 'change of scenery' when I alternate between here and there.

One other thing I like about Blogger is the ability to free transform scale of photos and drag them into the required space you wish to place it amongst your writing,It must be the artist in me but there is a little more Graphic Design here. I also like the concept of being of being part of one of Google's giant networking sites, it makes me appreciate the privileges we have to connect with corporations like them from the comfort of our own homes.

Like I have mentioned in other non Hubpages articles, I would like to introduce anyone who wishes to take blog sites seriously to the lifestyle you will be joining. In the above image you will see what represents a typical circumstance you will become used to, friends, family and partners just won't understand why you spend a few hours a day in silence typing away. I come to the conclusion that they either are jealous that you have dedicated yourself to something which is enjoyable to you and is getting you recognition, or they don't understand or respect the accomplishment you have achieved.

Once again, I had to take a break halfway between writing this, due to being interrupted by my day job and being social with housemates, remember, you don't want to appear like a recluse. Blogging is definitely my little sanctuary where I am free to be myself, plug my headphones in and forget about what others think of me, this is the main reason why I value my time when I get to make blogs, whether they are deep writing or reviewing something I am curious about, its all a journey of self discovery.
The illustration below portrays exactly how I feel when people dismiss me as 'uncool' or a 'dozy creative dreamer', I think to myself, 'OK, whatever you say, I'll just blog about it when I get home!'.
The last image (above) which I found, this helps me to describe how I feel about writing blogs because to me it is like wonderful art or creative graffiti which is made using my own way of expression. Although I do find pleasure when I make a blog, I also want to prosper and get recognition by doing something I enjoy, so SEO is something I have been researching and trying to gain traffic from search engines to my articles/websites. You can learn more about this in my other hub about linking and one about making money online.
There is no substitute for working hard on your writing skills, researching popular high revenue subjects to write about and knowing how AdSense and other affiliates work. Friends of mine are very skeptical about benefiting from online money making and to finish off I have included a humorous video about how I think they picture me writing!.
