My sweet illusion

Updated on December 3, 2012

If I could turn back time,

I would avert my eyes to the south

when she walked by

in high heels

swaying hips

Tick tack

was the sound

The music

The rare note

I was caught, ,

mesmerized ,frozen in a moment.

She was like a Unicorn hidden in a herd of running horses

Magical

Delicate

Something unrepeatable in history

A castle of impenetrable Walls

Hypnotically though I chased her,

Climbing the walls.

Challenging the seasons,

Staking out

day and night

Under balcony serenading

sweetest warm songs of Caribbean's nights

until she fell in my basket,

like a Newton's apple

ripe for rediscovery .

We engulfed in a beautiful glow

when we first touched

We did what books and movies indulge in

Wrong and right

was cancelled from our dict

We were happy

Reckless

Unmindful of what tomorrow would bring

She gave me warmth,

and length of the days

I gave her in return

as a duty,

a silhouette of blended colors

A sample of a perfect life from the Never-land.

Like night owls

we were

talking,

feeding,

traveling to each others arms the whole night.

We sent many message to all radio stations that

Love could endure

and wash away all dissimilarities,

gaps,

emptiness

and putting back what once was lost.

When time comes to shove

She took her heart in her hands to end it up

through the phone

I asked for the reasons

but she hung up in cold blood

like waves crashing on the shore

My world fell and crushed.

I know the feeling..... I just say "maybe it wasn't meant to be."

Never mind, that lucky person will find you soon.

Thanks for the votes.I appreciate that.

That was long time ago.Good days.Sweet memories.Unfortunately,it dies because because we don't know how to replenish its source.Too painful. Soul mates come into our life just to reveal another layer of ourselves to us, and then leave.

      Mama Mia!!

That was awesome to read and took my breath away.

"Sending messages to all radio stations...." I'll have to start tuning in now to get these messages... but oh.... it just ended like that. What an interesting, amazing, tantalising illusion.

      Great Poem

Voted up as usual. Awesome / beautiful and interesting...
