My true friend-poem

Updated on January 31, 2012

My True friend

You're good

You're bad

You’re the best

You’re the worst

You lift me up

You bring me down

But every time I talk to you

My hopes Of something more dwindle

I thought id gotten used to never being wanted

But somehow

It hurts just enough

To let me know that I still worry

But I have come to realize

its not worth the risk

You’re the best friend

I've had in years

And something more is out of the question

But someone like me

Needs a true friend

I've always been awkward and unsure

But with you're help

I can be better

And do better

Be my anchor

Hold me in place

Don’t let me run

Not again

Help me

My true friend

Thank you
