How to start writing blogs

Updated on April 20, 2014

Situation commonly faced by first time bloggers....

Hi Readers,

How to start writing blogs???This is the most common situations faced by most of the blogger which I have faced numerous times. This is not the fist blogging site I have got myself registered and probably it will also be not the last. But yes, this is the first time I am writing something after registering on any blogging website.

I am sure many of you have also faced this as a first time blogger. In my first article on this site, I will try to find out why I haven't wrote anything ever on previous registered sites...Below are few of the reasons and you can add yours in the comment section.

1. Not Serious About Writing

Most of us are not that much serious about writing. We come across some one's blog OR we read about someone earning through blogging OR inspired by celebrities writing blogs...Not being serious about writing but still registering themselves with such website is primarily reason why people stop writing after 1-2 article or not starting at all.

2. Not Confident about ourself's capability

Not being confident about our writing capability is also major reason why we stop blogging. Not all of us are experienced writer. In fact more than 95% percent of people writing blog are not writers at all. Hence, once we see the quality of writing on some one's else blog, we start comparing about our own blog and start doubting our own writing skills.

3. Counting chickens before they hatch

Most of us takes blogging because we see monetary gain by writing blogs. Internet sites are full of stories of people making fortune by just blogging. But when we see our handful of blogging is not getting us moolah, we tends to stop writing.

4. Our Hectic life

As I said above, most of us are not full time writers, we get engaged with our hectic day today life before we really start enjoying blogging.

There may be some other reasons why people stop blogging early or even don't start. I leave it my readers to dig further.

Before I end, it was reason 2 and 4 why I never wrote anything earlier even though I thought of starting several times. I hope I start enjoying this more and never stop again.

One last thing, you should write when you really want to write.. I find myself compelled to write when I am very happy or when I am sad. Or when I see something which I really want to discuss with other. Don't write just for the sake of writing. In that case, you will not be able to deliver quality content.
