Nature's Uninvited Guest

Updated on January 19, 2011
Source

it is in the early hour
when the world here is at rest
that I like to pay a visit
as Nature's uninvited guest.
silence is so blissful as
the earth in sleep renews...
it is a vision lovely that
now tickles my sweet Muse.
dripping of the dew drop
echoes in the soundless trees,
serenity pervades for there
is not a hint of breeze.
no living thing is stirring
in this early morning call
sweetest dreams of slumber
replenish Nature's all.
yes, it's in the early hour
when all the world here is at rest
that I love to pay a visit
as Nature's uninvited guest.

Tender Heat what a sublime piece of poetry.

There is nothing like walking the streets in dead of night illuminated by Moon and street light. to hear the first calls in the light of dawns first rays.

A Favorite time for me to be out and about. Once More you capture the sublime emotion of this time of day, with its suitableness and nuances, held in each line making each sentence perfectly expressed. On their own, and sing as a choir of angels when all written in a unity of expression

tnderhrt23--This is so sweet and peaceful. It makes me want to set my alarm for 3:33 a.m. or something or see if my Muse will awaken in the way your words did. I love the phrase "the earth in sleep renews." Isn't that beautiful? How can stand your AWESOME poet self? :-) You are so talented. DA
