"This is the book I never read. These are the words I never said. This is the path I'll never tread. These are the dreams I'll dream instead."

Never enough sunshine

To free this world

Embittered chaos

Does it swirl.

Festering sickness

War and plague

God above

Sees such rage.

Sunshine glisten

Bold and bright

Heal the world

Make it right.

Abandon hatred

Let go fear

Teach the wicked

Life is dear.

Love and sacrifice

I deem it thine

I pray the sun

Continues to shine.

A Hubber's Perspective

In at least the last thirty years, we as people have seen our world slowly grow cold and dark with what would seem like utter hopelessness.

In so many ways, we see through personal experience and media channels where civility has turned to hostility, compassion to cruelty, generosity to greed, diligence to faineance, and love to hate.

Have we lost our humanity?

Of course not, not all of our humanity .. there are those who still practice the old ways, but frightening as it seems with each generation, the numbers dwindle. Now is the time we must re-teach our young, show them the way with the 'road not taken', instill in them the days of yore before it is too late.

Perhaps one day ziyena, if humankind on planet earth makes the right choices, all the wars, all the greed, all the covetousness, all the hunger, and all the hate will just be painful memories from a long ago past.:)

I love this because sunshine does heal and banish cares, which is why the Aztecs saw the sun as a god. We don't get enough sun in the UK and suffer from the lack of it.
