Never Hide a Secret from Your Mother - She Knows it All

Updated on November 1, 2016
Shhhh!!
Shhhh!! | Source

Never hide a secret from your mom, she will surely find out. She knows you through and through and knows just what you have been up to.

Not only that, a mother can predict you're every move and read you like a book, she knows that you are trying to hide something from her the minute she looks at you.

Just give up, admit defeat. You can never hide a secret from your mom, read on.

Presenting my poem -

Never hide a secret, from your mom,

For she can always tell what you are up to,

By the look on your face, the way you talk,

Your shifty eyes and the way you walk.

Never hide a secret from your mom,

You know she is your friend,

She will help you and guide you,

And always be there till the end,

So do not worry and tell her all,

Be sure she will not let you fall,

She will bail you out of a situation,

She will cushion all your falls,

She will guide you to your destination,

And help avoid all the pitfalls,

Never hide a secret from your mom,

For she is your friend, companion and guide,

She will be with you,

In all your success and your failures,

And make you smile all the while,

Remember,

She will give you confidence, like nobody ever can,

She will understand you when no one else can,

She will always offer her shoulder for you to cry on,

She will always make things better,

And walk with you hand in hand.

Your Mom Knows it All

Never hide a secret from your mom

You think you can just carry on

Know this for sure

You are wrong

Oh my dear

Just tell her and move on

Never hide a secret from your mom

She is smarter than you think she is

Do not irritate her

Or

Underestimate her

She will find out

Just tell her what it is

Never hide a secret from your mom

She is there to help you out

Just know this is true

Whatever you do

She will love you

Without a doubt

Seriously I do not know how mom's know what their children are up to; they make us squirm with just their look!

Lovely poem and I completely agree with the theme of your poem!

When I was a young girl, I used to wonder how my mother knew about everything , what I was thinking about. Now my children wonder about the same thing about me.

Even if the child is away somewhere, the mother always gets the sense, whether her child is happy or sad or disturbed about something.

      Wonderful poem, voted up!

Secrets are always revealed at one time or another, mothers are usually the first ones to discover them. Well done Vellur! Fabulous poem!

This is so sweet and true. My mother was my best friend and even though she passed on she gave me gifts (like laughter) that linger.

Aww what a sweet write! My daughters finally gave up trying to keep secrets from me when they were teenagers because they said that I always knew anyway and that I could help when they let me --I guess your poem makes me think of them--
