"Never Say Never In Life''

Updated on July 18, 2011

"Never Say Never In Life"

I"ve learned to never say never in my life.
I"ve learned to never say never in my life.

"Never Say Never In Life"

I've learned to never say never, because life'smexperiences will make you life to yourself every time. Saying you will never do certain things in life is a big mistake. We live in a world of changing times and some of us are quick to say what we want or wouldn't do,if we were in a precarious situation...but I found out the hard way that you're putting yourself in a trick bag, when we make such statements.. I never thought I was any better than anyone else, but when it came down to certain things in my life....I thought for sure that I wouldn't do certain things, but circumstances in life made a big liar of me.Many times, I said i wouldn't never do certain things in my life, but circumstances made me lie to myself. So now that I know that saying what you want do is not an option because we always do what we say you want do

How many times have you said that you wouldn't do, a certain thing and end up doing the very thing that you said you wouldn't do. Making this statement, without thinking...puts us in a vulnerable situation, where we end up eating our words. I finally come to the realization that it'snot safe or logical to tell yourself or anyone else what you want do in life, because the circumstances of life will make a liar out of you every time. Now since I know the truth, I make it a habit of saying ,I will try not to do certain things instead of stating what I want do. I know for a fact that everyone reading this hub has said what they want do at one time or another, only to realize that they lied to themselves because they did exactly what they said they wouldn't do. So do your self a big favor and never say never.

What a nice hub, and yes, never say never.

This reminds me of Justin Beiber's song...Never say Never ...

This hub expressed a profound reality in a very succint manner. Saying 'Never' puts us @ the risk of exposing the hypocrite in us, even with the best of our intentions. Thanks for sharing. Nice hub...

You're right Benny Faye, i've had to back-track many times. I find if i say, " I wouldn't want to do that " It's better. Thank you.

I used to say that to my kids when they were little... I said it so often that my daughter started to think that "never" was a bad word. Any time I would say, "Never say never", her eyes would widen and she would go, "Mom! You just said it!"

Hi CreativeOne! Thank you for sharing this hub. It is very true that there are certain times in our lives that we do say, "I will never do certain things," and yet, those are the very things that we find ourselves doing. So, it is better to say, "I will try NOT to do..." I certainly agree with what you are saying. Sometimes, it all depends upon the situation, whether it calls for a much more complicated decision at hand. Thank you for sharing your wisdom, CreativeOne! Looking forward to reading more of your later hubs. God bless!
