Next is the cry!

Updated on November 13, 2012

Mel Gibson says....NEXT!

Look at the picture and just imagine what Mel Gibson is saying.

This is what he says before one last charge at the battle of Culloden or wherever it was.

He is about to scream NEXT!

That has been me throughout this 30/30 Hub Page Challenge.

I am doing this hub about my challenge.

Although I have hardly touched the original list of titles I had prepared for this challenge I feel again that I should share with you that my favourite way of attacking this challenge has been to pull a title from something happening in my life at that moment and just going ahead and writing about it.

Titles for articles just appear.

The title for this hub came just as I was finishing my second article today. I have other things, pressing things I need to be doing at this moment ,but decided that I was having so much fun in this challenge today that I had to keep writing as the words and thoughts were in free flow.

Another reason was, and I had said previously that I didn't feel I was in competition with Ardie and Haunty, she let it slip to me on FB that she had done 4 or 5 hubs this weekend. Well let me tell you, it's a competition now baby!

As I was saying the inspiration came as I was posting the last hub on my FB page. I decided to give myself a bit of motivation so I put a link up to say I was starting my next hub and that the battle cry was NEXT!.

Wow, what a great title for an inspirational, motivational article. I like doing this type of hub because it really fires up my imagination and words just seem to fly from my fingers. When I am writing I can't keep up with the flow of thoughts.

At that moment I don't care what the content is like, I can tweak that later. It is just a case of getting everything out and on the page.

There is a point to this hub I can assure you.

And the point is...

YOU CAN DO THIS......all of you.

DO YOU HEAR ME.... I said, all of you!

If you just do it. Just get on with it, don't wimp out, don't moan about you situation, just get on with it. You never know you may just enjoy it and you will learn something about yourself.

I have learned that it really is true that if you do something for 30 days it becomes habit.

Yes that's right, doing this challenge has and is still forming a habit for me. A habit I hope is to stay with me for my life. Now, I am not saying that this will continue at the pace I have been working at, but I do think it will have helped me to write more hubs per week than I was doing prior to this challenge.

The key for this and my motivation has been my fellow hubbers in this with me. Not wanting to be the one to let the side down I have visualised getting to the end on a daily basis.

Visualising the feeling at the end is very empowering. I just hope at the end it won't be an anti-climax. I do know that I will need a few days off from the article writing to catch up with all my followers both new and old. Commenting on the new hubs has been deifficult and a problem to keep up to. Apologies to anyone reading this who has taken time to comment on one of the 30/30 hubs that I have not acknowledged. Be sure I will get through them all as soon as I possibly can at the end of this challenge. It is not that far away now and it feels wonderful.

A feeling of achievement.

Satisfaction, pride and achievement are just three of the things that this challenge provides.

The feeling of a job well done is a motivator. Something we all try to aspire to in our daily lives.

Where is this all going to end nobody knows when working through this feat of endurance. It is certainly a marathon and not a sprint. Having said that there are days when you up the pace and get a second wind which really moves you to action. This Sunday 29th Jan 2012 is no exception. I have had such a blast today with this and I am now only 7 away from the completion of my first big milestone here at Hub Pages.

OMG I have just remembered that I have an interview to do, I have been so engrossed in what I have been doing that I totally forgot. I will have to go do it and will be straight back.

Did you miss me?

You never knew I was gone did you?

Let's just hope I can pick up now where I left it.

Here goes, are you sitting comfortably?

Good, then I'll begin.

A sound foundation.

Doing the 30/30 Hub Challenge has provided me with a sound footing and platform for the future. Something that I can now build a credible business out of. Which way things will go is anyone's guess at this moment.

I do know that my main aim will be to help others achieve their goals here, which will in turn help me achieve mine.

I have received a lot of help of late. You only have to ask here and help comes to you in a big way. Ardie Paul and BelaM have been inspirational and continue to help me. Not only providing me with great advice, but the fact that I know they are there in different countries is awesome

Please let me help.

For any of you who are considering taking the challenge, please feel free to ask for any help you need.

I am here and am committed to helping anyone who needs it.

If you don't ask you don't get.

I asked for help and got the best.

Please do the same.

Find a soul mate who can help you move this thing on.

Surround yourself with positive people.

Be careful who you share your dreams with.

Do not get discouraged if things are a little slow.

Write, write, write.

Get the articles out there and momentum will take over.

And that my friends is so true in this case.

Good luck and let me know if I can help.

How right you are Steve! When I did the 30/30 I hardly touched the list I had made before I started. I was like an obsessed mad woman, thinking and writing hubs! It is great and this hub is a great tribute to the 30/30...yet another inspiration by poshcoffeeco!! Voted up and awesome.

Congratulations on whipping the challenge Steve,

I was reading one of your 30/30 hubs the other day about the hose pipe ban, whilst watching the rain pour down. :)

I left a comment and it inspired me to write my latest hub on flooding in East Anglia lol

Thanks buddy you are an inspiration to us all.

    Voted up useful and interesting.

    Keep rocking it like Jagger.

Steve, the 30/30 challenge terrifies the life out of me. I admire anone who does it and I especially admire anyone who does it and also has a full time job! I am at work at 8am and don't get home until 5:30pm and I force myself to sit down and log into HubPages every night but often - the well is dry! Well done on this! Voted up and shared.

Hahah Posh! I loved this article the MOST of all 30/30 so far :) And not just because you added my name! I love it because it speaks of my thoughts exactly. I love this challenge and even though I have complained a bit I am actually thinking about taking a break and then DOING IT AGAIN! Can you believe that? Yup I said again. This has been SUCH a wonderful experience with you and Bela. And YOU Posh made me take the extra step to do this...I mentioned it and you made me commit. You're the best :D

30 in 30 takes some discipline. Congrats on your tenacity. You're almost there. And you're right (write), anything you've done for 30 days becomes a habit.

Thanks Audrey for being first to comment on this one. I do agree that poetry is a different kettle of fish altogether. Thanks for the support.

I don't think I can churn out poetry at that rate--I tend to write in bunches--then edit --I always admire people that can just sit down and do it----good luck!!! You can do it!
