Nigeria 2011
I felt good about myself during the last gubernatorial election in Nigeria and that was why i gave my all to a particular man in whom i saw the true virtues of a Leader. We all have different perspectives on every issue and i made my political views clear in one of my articles. You see, whatever we believe is to our own value that was why Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo took my all.
"True Leadership lies not in what we see but what is done"
I know that you might be wondering why i made the above comment. Honestly, a true Leader is one who inspires people to strive to be better humans.
By this time come 2011,Nigerians would have gone to the poll to elect a new President so that is the reason why i said what i said above.
"True Leadership lies not in the flesh but in the spirit"
What we need in Nigeria at this point in time is not a Leader but a GREAT LEADER.
A Leader who will groom us...
A Leader who will grow us...
A great Leader is a visionary humanbeing, a forward looking servant who envisions a better future, a harbinger of HOPE and one who works in partnership with the masses.
Nigeria needs a Leader who will elevate us to a greater height, a leader who will not respond to the raw passions and wishes of the masses rather will lead us to a place of greater enlightenment.
The Kind of President i wish for my Nation is the kind who is associated with high levels of spiritual sensuousness hence a noble leader who will inspire each and every single Nigerian and freely share his spiritual energy to awake our spirits.
Nigerians at large lack confidence in our leaders therefore as the day draws closer for each and every eligible Nigerian to freely and willingly exercise a franchise right,we must carry one vision in our minds.
THE NEED FOR HIM TO UNDERSTAND OUR NEED.
What we need is a Leader who will bring out the "CAN DO" spirit in us because the spirit is a greater force than the flesh. We are wallowing in fear, blinded by our own lack of freedom and the failures of our Leaders are contributing factors to the EXODUS of all the professionals in Nigeria.
Tribalism has hijacked our system but we can transform this situation into a better Nigeria once we all understand the need to cast our vote(s) not to a Party but to a CANDIDATE.It will take US (You and me),we as a people to clean the mess left in our system by our Dictators.
Great Leadership is what we want and a great Leader is a Teacher so Brothers and Sisters,Patriotic Nigerians in home and in Diaspora, let us all come together irrespective of Tribe,Religion and or Political party and give our NATION what we believe.
I am always intrigued at how fast some of us fall to the tricks and lies of all our sugar coated mouth Dictator(s)/Politicians who do not just promise and fail but always abandon us even before the last vote is counted.
Furthermore, i am worried at the number of young professional Nigerians especially Doctors who i see outside the shores of Nigeria. Therefore, let us ignore short term goals and stand on the platform of good leadership.
Our present Leader, Mr Goodluck Jonathan voiced out his own concern about our electorate and all the irregularities goes down to the inefficiency of the former I N E C chairman (Mr Morris Iwu) but the electorate is not our major problem.
The problem facing us as a Nation is our inability to embrace great LEADERSHIP thus the systematical fellowship of our TRIBAL ASPIRANTS.This is the problem and the sole reason why we are still in our captive cages since 1960.
Awake O Compatriots
Let us rise and shine
Our hope is our vision
Without true vision
We will forever be in darkness
Our dreams is to energize us
Our trust is for a noble leader
Let our leader drive us forward
Awake O Nigeria
Nigeria 2011;we will rise
