No Longer the Outsider

Updated on July 19, 2017

In my own land, though my people care

In this foreign land, though these people share,

Among co-workers, though they protect me,

Among family, though love enfolds me.

Yet, I feel I’ve spent the years needed

To reside in peace in my own skin.

Purpose rules this house.

I’m no longer an outsider... to myself.
