Noble Clouds (poem)

Updated on February 18, 2017

So noble the clouds in the sky

This promise of life drifting by

These forms taking shape for an eye

These pillows for dreams and a sigh

This ocean was heaven’s reply

Of all which it would not deny

To dreamers which came to rely

On blessings which you would apply

Life’s future the tears that you cry

With each drop the hope of refrain

A promise to those who must die

Some reason for all of this strain

So as your tears soon become rain

And foolish hearts try to stay dry

And you your last breath you now gain

To tell us that you were once there

Thus dreams of clouds begin to fly

As what was once comes tumbling down

A memory once more was found

Of something once so far away

Oh noble clouds where did you go

Are these the dreams

Reality never realized by those who do originate wars for their lucrativ selfich greed. Beautifully coordinated poem with choice of music.

      Glory to God.

Mere children, so many soldiers in wars without number. A shame we would allow this travesty of youth. Some of my friends and family perished in wars around the world. I pray that many had the chance to reason and try to understand why they were there to risk their lives. Nicely penned my friend. whonu
