Is It ...Not The End

Updated on May 21, 2012

Yes, I read....

your e-mail today

It said, I won't be home...

I'm going away.

Please, don't look for me,

because this is how

It must be for us..

right now

Is It... Not the End ?

Our love has gotten...hard I feel

Remember.. how it used to be

so soft and so real.

Just so you know

I will always send

my love for you..

so I guess...Is It.. Not the End

For now.. just take

my words and wait

it 's really best...

we don't communicate.

I saw you both.. standing in the rain

and from then on I knew

that we would ...

never be the same.

The rain fell softly

as her lips... you kissed

your lips were once mine

and will be always missed

My tears were hidden

by the rain.....

but the rain.. on my face

could not hide.. my pain

Yes.. I did

I followed you today

although, right now

I know.. what I have to say

Now I'm sure you know

this means goodbye...

Please don't talk

you will just make me cry.

Is It... Not The End?

I can feel the deep pain and sadness in these words by one torn - and the question/statement "Is it....not the end" speaks of the uncertainty and confusion felt. I have read many of your beautiful and romantic poems, Cleaner and this is one of your best. I love the emotion expressed, maybe because I relate to this as a female. Just beautifully sad. My votes and best wishes to you Michael, from Annie.

Deep Love hurts and I felt the pain in this beautiful scribe Mike. To witness the breakup and another sharing what only the two of you did is a sinking feeling indeed. I hope you worked it out and you are moving forward my friend. Peace and blessings to you.

Michael this is such a poignant poem..it never easy to say goodbye , it's the word which everyone could hardly utter. Sometimes really no choice but have to , it's like a compulsion.

Michael, you have written this from a woman'n perspective. It's a very good poem, very deep and heartfelt. It must be so painful when love is no longer reciprocated and watch how the one we once loved has found someone new.
