To Your Spirit, Elsie, the immortal and undaunting; the courageous and the resilient, with aspiration and willingness to grow and prosper.

Now that Love’s got hold of me, I’m flying like a kite.

Singing; dancing; soaring, to a realm of sweet Delight.

Veiled curtains now wide open; and so Heaven is my height.

I ride on joy to Paradise; to sweet supernal Light.

Yon meadow was the Tavern, where first I tried to see.

The eyes of my Beloved, Her gaze embracing me.

Alas! A Heart not strong enough, as sturdy as should be.

Caused me to miss Her golden plume; this weakness was the key.

Now I waltz between the clouds, paint tapestry on stars.

No more my shadow-cages, nor earthly prison bars.

Like Rolls Royce’s, Mercedes, and fast chauffeur-driven cars,

Such is the way of Angels, faster than the speed of Sars.

Now that I’m asleep in Bliss, Awake in Silence-Peace.

I sport and dine with Sovereigns, sumptuous banquets not amiss.

Embraced by my Beloved, gave me such a great big kiss!

Where can I swing in ecstasy, more beautiful than this?

      Thanks Bro.

I do occasionally. Quite common in the old school of Lovers: Yeats; Blake; Keats and the persian mystics. To do this one, I feel it is better to lead into a very obvious romance with a very obvious God and then blend it in. Peace, Bro.

I love how you ended the poem with a kiss. Very good, I am reminded of Yeats as I read. Jamie

As I was reading this I felt the spirit enter deep into the heart and I soared above those stars to heaven where the angels await me, then watching the video a strange calmest came over me, I am at peace. My head is still tingling with an unusual feeling of greatness to come.

      Thanks Manatita.
