O Light, My Beautiful Light! A Tribute to the Brilliant Writer, Linda Crampton. Tuesday's Inspiration 5

Manatita is an esteemed author living in London, UK. He writes spiritual books, flash fiction and esoteric poetry, his favourite genre.

Wisdom of Sri Chinmoy

"Of all the divine qualities, unfortunately Light is wanted least, even though it is needed most by all. People want peace, joy and power, but very rarely do they want Light. Unconsciously or consciously, they are afraid of Light..." -Sri Chinmoy

Linda Crampton is an extremely competent writer. Doing the research, putting it all together in such a lucid, informative and interesting way is not easy. Yet, perhaps coupled with her academic background as well as her natural talent, she allows the ideas to flow, like a river, with clarity, vibrancy … and a fullness of depth and wonderment.

Linda Crampton, on behalf of your Hub Pages readers, I salute your pen and Heart of Lustre.

O Light, my Beautiful Light 2:00 mins

I speak of the Light, that kissed my bleeding cries,

Dried my tears on knees, too weak to stand,

Wounded by the agony of my longing.

I speak of the Light, that erased my shadows,

Lifted me from the pit of darkness,

To the gemstone beauty, of the indigo moon.

This is the Light, that adorned my burning core,

Rescued me from the gates of Hades;

To the incandescent brilliance, of supernal Love.

This is the Light, in whose gaze I remained mute,

Like one, still warm from passing,

Into the elysian fields of Paradise.

I speak of the Light, of peerless lustre,

Igniting a tapestry of rainbows,

Into the profundity of my Soul.

This is the Light, which, like drunken nightingales,

Plays a ceaseless melody in my Heart, sending it

Into a bewildering eloquence of Silence.

I speak of the Light that enveloped me,

When I was numb in spirit, more dead than alive.

Deep down in the abysmal abyss, Her voice whispered softly:

“Enough, my sweet Lantern, I have come to take you Home.”

“O Light, my beautiful Light!”

I flung myself lovingly, into the bosom of Her

Eternal core, and we became One.

Manatita 14th May, 2019

The sweet-scented tulips of this perfumed

Garden, hug the walls and foliage.

The honeysuckle blossoms; pays

Homage to the Light.

A pageantry of flowers adorns the stony pathway,

While the birds and squirrels dance.

Even a thousand garlands, my Love,

Cannot match the wafts of Thy allure.

Into the Temple of the Heart my Beloved comes,

Kissing my soul with infinity’s plenitude.

I feel the magical descent of an enchantment,

Stabbing my core with the arrow of Joy.

Steeped in a void of intense immensity,

The moonlight kisses my cheeks;

I become dazed,

Absorbed in a river of supernal Light.

My Heart is burning with Love;

My core full of intensity, from the fire

Of Thy Bliss. I gaze at the crescent moon,

Its adorable sweetness --

Like pure white snow -- hugging the serenity of

My existence. You reach down and

Kiss me; I suddenly ascend,

To the deathless joy of Emptiness.

Now timeless, timeless … timeless,

Is this moment. My eagle-bird,

Dances in an Ocean of sheer Delight.

I cascade into a ball of Light,

Nestling in the golden curvature of Thy locks,

And become bewildered.

Manatita, The Lantern Carrier. 17th February, 2019.

More wisdom from Sri Chinmoy

"...they feel that the divine Light will expose their imperfections, limitations and bondage. This is not true. The divine Light embraces the world in all its ignorance. Something more, the divine Light feels that it is its bounden duty to elevate the human consciousness, into the plenitude of the Life Divine." -Sri Chinmoy

Light is that which illumines, awakens the self or Source within us, burning away our afflictions … our impediments to make us whole again. Light is the sudden 'Ah!' which has always been there, like any great invention, simply awaiting the arrival, of our receptivity and surrender. - Manatita

Wisdom from the Master

"Gratitude is the sweetest thing in a seeker's life - in all human life. If there is gratitude in your heart, then there will be tremendous sweetness in your eyes." - Sri Chinmoy.

"True inner joy is self-created. It does not rely on any other circumstances. A river of joy is flowing in and through you, carrying the message of joy. This divine joy, is the sole purpose of life." -Sri Chinmoy

Manatita, I'm learning to read your poetry slowly. To let the words dispel into visions. To let in the light. I feel your presence and excitement as I read the words that convey the feelings in your soul.

So very beautiful! We are all blessed.

    That's great Eric. Bravo!

If you have an instrument you can play that too. A friend of mines get paid for chatting and telling jokes. He also plays the guitar and sings to them. The older folks, I mean.

We are pawns in His game of chess, and He is having fun. Ha ha.

    Noted Manunulat.

This is one of the sweetest things that have been said to me. You are a kind soul. More joy to you.

" The most beautiful thing on earth is man's gratitude to God, to the divinity in humanity. This is the beauty unparalelled and it will remain so throughout eternity." - Sri Chinmoy.

They sent me to the shrinks again. No not for meds or therapy. To teach five of them crazies how to spiritually advise Geriatric patients. Reach up. Reach now and reach others. I have no idea why they pay me. I would rather get paid for swimming with a dog in the lagoon or dancing in the rain. Life is yours maybe but not mine.
