Oh My Goodness

Updated on September 5, 2013

Oh my

Remarkable is the work

Seen in the Spirit’s light,

Glory that cannot be uttered

If tried with all human might,

Sin is gone!

Finally, made its last debut

Purity whispers the path is clear

Go all the way through,

Salvation is complete!

Entire is perfection!

Everyone written in the book of life

Called to the resurrection,

Robes of righteousness

Are worn with all honor,

Grace has paved the way to the Father

Mercy follows triumphantly,

Victory sings so melodiously

Declaring it is over!

Love conquered all and has not failed

In every one of its endeavors,

Truth sounds a trumpet blast

All lies bow and retreat,

Peace hums perfectly and so serenely sweet

Time has played its last measure,

The end is finally here!

Eternity avers, “I will take over now”

The Lord gently echoes

To every spirit and soul

Rest now you are home.

Without His sacrifice, we would remain in our sin. I so look forward to the day we go home. In the meantime, we are one in Christ. We are responsible to build one another up. Thank you for your words of encouragement.

We must occupy until He returns. It is just like you said, there is a part of us that looks forward to going home and that is what I call, Oh my! through this poem.
