Ode to Music, The Language of The Soul. To Phyllis Doyle Burns by Manatita

From one loving Bard to another, in appreciation of her aesthetic, sublime, lofty and poetic works of both prose and poems. Much peace.
Come! Come! O melody of the constellations,
Let me lose myself in trance,
A drunken stupor in the rhapsody of Thy bliss.
Chanting, “Rama Da SA, SA Say So Hung,”
I lose myself in Your grandeur,
Inebriated in the zenith of Your Delight.
Cute Narada, the mystery of thy eloquent flute;
The inner majesty of your celestial clarion,
Has left my speech unspoken; my tongue still.
My Soul dances to the soft winds
Of your inner rhythm;
I feel adorned by the benevolence
Of the illustrious Ones.
Sweet Kristos, Nanak, Krishna, Buddha …
Beckon me to the Light of the Beyond.
This Spirit resonates to the inner harmony;
The sheer rapture of Thy magic;
I whirl in ecstatic delight.
“Satnam … satnam … satnamji,
Waheguru … Waheguru … Waheguruji.”
“Jai Lord!”
Here on this ethereal couch of nectar sweet,
I waltz and sing; dance with the supernal wine
Of “Ram nam … Mere Prabhu … Jai Lord!”
Inebriated, I lose myself in Delight.
Awakened and glowing with the fire of enchantment,
I repose in the firmament of the Great Unknown.
Sweet music, Your Light is a comfort in the shadows,
A beacon on the Path of Love.
You fill me with the mystery of Your Word,
A transforming Manual for eternal Peace.
As You enfold me with Your Life-force,
Let us tango together in Peace Supreme:
“Guru Dev … Guru Dev … namo!”
“Salutations, O Great One … Salutations … !”

A Meditation of Music For The Soul
The Ethereal Sound
Music is a universal language. The music that stirs and elevates the Soul, is a necessary and life-changing music. It intoxicates the Spirit, and the devotee feels like being drunk or in a wonderfully enthralling trance of peace, Light and joy.
The mystic element of the inner Sound, resonates and vibrates in the cosmos; the Word filling the heart with joy, thrilling the Soul with ecstasy, and the devotee whirls, cries and dances with an indescribable happiness he's barely able to sustain. Let us praise our Lord for His Peace and glory. Satnam ...Jai Guru, Jai, jai Ram!
Peace, Bliss, Happiness

Comments
Yes, music can take many forms, especially the Song of the Animals, which luckily, I experience each day, and THAT dear bard, keeps me well and happy. A very nice piece that commemorates the basic of needs.
Thanks for sharing another amazing and wonderful poem, Manatita. You are a master of words!
Manatita, I was revising my old hub (Spirituality and the Lantern Carrier) and when looking for an appropriate book I found yours, 'My Guru'. I am so pleased to include it on my hub and will be ordering the book.
Oh, my ... what beauty expressed in your words of serenity and peace to Phyllis. I also loved reading the back and forth comments and Phyllis' amazing poem back to you! She is a gifted poet as well. I will have to visit her side of HP Town.
Voted up and more and away
Have a blessed and peaceful weekend
You may, with my blessings, take the lantern carrier line, Manatita. I have a hub somewhere, written long ago, about the Lantern Carrier. The Lantern Carrier is part of my spiritual teachings to others and it belongs to you also because you feel it in your heart. Yes, do use it in a future poem. For you to frame and hang up my poem to you is a gift of joy for me. I will do the same with your poem to me if it pleases you. Bless you. I, too, am about to enter into my late evening meditation. Peace ...
Bard of Esoteric Poetry -To Manatita from Phyllis Doyle
Dear prophet of inner peace and beauty, to you I dedicate this poem.
Deep Peace Within ~
With fiery passion born of love and deep peace within
The loving Bard of esoteric poetry journeys through life
Touching the hearts and souls of those who hear and see
Far beyond the ordinary where true beauty can be found
Deep within where the soul dwells in divine splendor
Bliss is the name of the prose he gifts to others
With no thought other than love of the aesthetic
and our potential to eternally grow in spirit
His faith in humanity, his faith in his God
There you find him
Like a lantern carrier, he brings light to the dark corners
Wherein lie the seeds of hopelessness and no peace
Light to open the heart and allow seeds of love to grow and spawn more love
The peace we so need we find by his lantern which allows us to look deeper within our Self
Gifted with Divine Grace does he reach out with words of beauty
To touch the soul with inspiration and enlightenment
Poetry of divine love comes from within
His soulful words drift and settle in the hearts that need them
He gives comfort to the lonely, hope to the lost
The knowledge of love divine to those who so need love
His love for all of Nature and all that is beautiful
Emanates from his soul, shines through his eyes
I surround myself with prophets of peace and divine love
Manatita, you are a gift to the hope of the world
May you always walk in peace and harmony, beloved prophet
