Ode to a cold

Updated on October 6, 2012
Achooooooo | Source

My throat is sore my head is thumping

hot then cold I lay down grumpy.

Blocked up nose and puffy eyes

Brain befuddled thoughts confused.

Vitamin C and plenty of oranges,

Cayenne pepper, lemon and honey

Isagenix spray, naturopathic capsules

Won't something send my cold away?

Laying on the sofa with snuggly blanket

comfy cats and books and handkerchiefs

James Bond movies, romantic comedies

making the most of enforced rest!

How to make a cold go away - some tips

  • Lemon, honey and as much cayenne pepper as you can manage in hot water
  • Oil of Oregano
  • Whisky, cloves, lemon and honey in hot water
  • Isagenix Spray
  • Redoxen Vitamin C

Most colds take 5-7 days to clear and the rememdies can help alleviate symptoms but the cold will probably take its own sweet time to depart. Bless You!

This is what I do when I get those nasty things. Enjoy what you can -- especially the movie watching! Voted way up.
