Officers In Blue

These words are for the Officers in Blue who get labeled and judged strongly and wrongly because of the aggressive, excessive, actions of others who have brought shame and dishonor to the uniform, and to themselves...

Written for The Officers in Blue who are not Afraid to give assistance to you...

Not Afraid of your Color, Afraid of your Status, Race, Creed or Religion.

This is for those Officers who really are there to assist you, really are there to Protect and Serve you…

This is for them whose voices get drowned out or silenced because they are sometimes a living witness to the Inside Stories that go unreported and get distorted, to protect the Villains, not the Victims...

This is for the Officers in Blue who refuses to draw their Guns on you because of passed down stereotypes about other Races and Cultures...

The Officers in Blue who maintains Self–Control when things are out of Control, and Reasoning, not Force,is needed…

This is for the Officers in Blue who only want to do their Job and only want to come home safe with body and mind intact.

You are in My Family tree, somewhere ... Hope these words find you...

Continue to fight the Blue Wall of Silence and Violence in your own Special way…

Continue to be smart and vigilant in your contact with the People you took an Oath to Serve...

Continue to let Dignity be a part of you, respecting the Rights of Others be a part of you.

Officers in Blue, I hope these few thoughts find you and remind you "how much you are needed in the community, on the streets walking that Beat."

Aggressive and excessive force is not part of your make-up … Nightsticks for communication is not part of your make-up." Shoot First and worry about it later, not part of your make-up...

Stay in the shadows if you must; these words were written because of those of us who appreciate and understand the necessity of the "Likes of You" on the Force and on the Job.

The word Caring is still there, in your eyes, Officers In Blue ... Don't Change!

The people who you have Served know this, your peers know this; and for Some people, you are to be watched instead of emulated...

Your job is dangerous, your job demands you stay alert and avoid getting hurt at all cost...

There is a great need for your type of dedication and commitment, a need for your empathy when critical moments arise.

These words are just to say thanks to all the Officers In Blue, who are often in the background trying to conceal themselves from the Spotlight Seekers...

May our Creator Continue to watch over you because the People You Serve sure needs the Likes of You.

Need your Presence in the Field because their concerns are real...

A timely tribute to those officers who serve, protect, and perform their duties with integrity. Very nice, Malik. They need to hear and know how much we respect them, without making broad judgments about them based on the actions of one. God bless them. Voted up and beautiful.

Yes police officers protect those that need help. We should be more appreciative of all they do. A few bad apples don't mean they are all corrupt.
