My Brother, Where Are You Going?
I'm up here on the roof, you see me for the proof, on this day, so fair,
It's here I'd rather be, than down on that ground, you see, I do swear.
Oh, Brother where are you now, lost somehow, don't see you no more,
Left that big old lake, was a mistake, though was crowded on the shore.
Oh my brother, where are you at, I'm not giving up on you just yet, no way,
Not in the clouds, on the shore with all the crowds, missing in action today,
Always flying North in the Winter, down South in the Spring, what's up, anyhow,
Playing hide-and-seek, squawking with your beak, more than the law will allow.
Down at the old swimming hole, you dove mighty bold, almost drowned one day,
You are such a player, fun-time conveyer, we all quack up, at everything you say.
Oh, brother where are you at, I'm not giving up on you, just yet, no way,
Not in clouds, on the shore with all the crowds, missing in action, today.
Please don't say you're in the soup, in some farmer's chicken coup, just to play,
I know you're quite a clown, always hanging around, saw you here, yesterday.
You're absent with out leave, AWOL, can't believe, despite crazy things you say,
Like a goose on the loose, fit to be tided, you're such a joker, you're here to stay.
Oh brother where are you at, I'm not giving up on you, just yet, no way,
Not in the clouds, on the shore with the crowds, missing in action today.
It's daunting just to think, you'd wind up in the drink, of a nearby creek,
Have you got an injured wing, or just going on a fling, open your beak.
Oh brother duck, is that you, flying from the blue, landing in the pond,
Where the heck, not a joke, we almost had a stroke, of you we're fond.
Oh brother where were you at, I'm not giving up on you, just yet, in no way,
Were in the clouds, not on the shore, with the crowds, no longer missing today.
You're no longer missing today...little brother...
