Oh the Conscious of the King

Updated on April 28, 2013
Source

Oh to be so very beautiful in his eyes

Or the fading light by his side

The love of his life to be solely his

Only moments from a song she would be

In the blackest of shadows

Their life would turn

To excitement that twists like never before

With tears in his eyes she left his heart

Vibrations of words to never form again

Romantic love and romance she would yearn

Through pen and paper the lines would form

As she saw him in the fading light

Giggling with pleasure

Tears of joy

Took her by surprise

As the king left her at the door

Sir she pleaded let me in….

Bring out the emotion one more day

In he walks with white roses in hand

A knight in shining armor to begin....

Was he

Source

He took the princess by surprise

One sweep made her dart her eyes

To kiss the king can inspire a song

Moments are more than that can be explained

She must walk away from the vision she had

With sobs of dread rubbing her heart

The king looked and looked where did she go?

With each passing year she didn’t know

What a mystery with each step that came to pass

Has floated away on the Milky Way

Not in mind or body, what came to be shared

Through all the dreams dream t in fairy tales.

Beautiful imagery in your words and I love the pictures you displayed as well. This reminds me of Psalm 45, the imagery of the King looking for his bride. Voting this up, sharing this. Beautiful Great job.

I really liked the photo of the girl in pink with bling on her eyes, along with the pink roses. : ) Your poem was sad but beautiful. I especially liked these lines:

'To excitement that twists like never before

With tears in his eyes she left his heart

Vibrations of words to never form again

Romantic love and romance she would yearn

Through pen and paper the lines would form

As she saw him in the fading light'

      Beautifully put! Voted up!!!!!!
