Oil, War and Money

Updated on September 16, 2011

Hey my king, what are you doing

What's there, your lost empire?

Are we alive, feeling the vibe

What a shame, you're losing the game!

What's the game, who's to blame

People are killed, without any shield!

You need oil, your force will spoil

An entire nation, to a "Taliban" station!

Money you print, that's to be spent

To win a war, to lose that war!

You've won, your empire gone

Mr. Bush, who'll now push?

We need a push, you sucked our juice

You made our nation, a horrible station!

Prices soar, we need more

We need money, isn't it funny?

I love the upbeat, angry polemic of this put to a rap rhythm. A very cool protest poem, andycool.
