"On My Own Planet" by Eric Wayne Flynn

"On My Own Planet"

I'm on my own planet, that's the way it be

I'm on my own planet, come and play with me

Slide down a river of blankets, warmed by cloth, cooled by the breeze

Float over mountains, bounce off clouds and skim across trees

Lay down, take rest with the mid day sun

Roll up soft hills of green grass, roll on down after you're done

Dance naked in the field that sits by the sea

Flowers brush our hearts and other parts, fine by you, fine by me

Fire lights up sand

Shadows hand in hand

Winds play songs to sing

Feast, we touch, we taste, we dine with grace

Oh what a lovely place

On my planet it's you and me

Great poem. Reminds me of how I imagine dancing on floating clouds to relax and go to sleep. ^
