Retracing ahead?!

Updated on August 24, 2014

As the acquainted faces

queued up in a row

one behind the other

in my nostalgic mind

The fading events

moved from the abyss

at a slow pace

Refreshing memories

That glowed or grimaced

my plain countenance

simultaneously

equipping me

for further encounters

with one and all

in the anticipated future!

It is amazing how our past can at times motivate our future responses. Good thoughts and lovely poetry.
