On winning my love!

Updated on December 16, 2015
Source

I ain’t a Hercules,

are you an Atlas by any chance?

To deceive each other

let’s not take turns;

the smarter may win

but would be a loser;

the concerned may feign to lose

yet would be a true gamer!

Done!

a heart for a heart,

a blow for a blow;

now,

seek your way to peace

nay, cease to weep;

lavish on the lullabies of love

that rocked our days of romance

slowly numbing the realities of life

to excite the dreams of love!

Aha, a recaptured freshness of the flow

indicating the tears of joy

blends with the envisioned experience!

Be happy,

my love,

that’s the sole purpose on being in love!

      I see quite a few poems about love here. What better subject to write about? Love makes the world go round. :) Lovely work.
