One Fall Day

Updated on October 2, 2012

a smoky horizon

a pink canvas

a bright candle

the sun lies in

a faded drum

in the distance

beating to.....

my hum

waves, currents, danger

a single rose

floats by

like a stranger

birds and autumn

last meeting

until the blossom

warm but crisp

fresh and satisfying

the air breathes

leaves me kissed

leaves shedding

bareness, nakedness

preparing for....

a ground bedding

orange, red, yellow

and brown

the Fall's tones

sounds and feels mellow

Quietness, calmness

autumn demands...

thinking, reflection

respect and wellness

This is beautiful! I miss seasons, especially the leaves turning.
