One Step Not to Soon

Celebrating American Poetry Month.

A wail bellows deep

Body snaps shut nerve red

Mercury shoots high

Yowl and yelp vivace

My body plays tremolo

Got to do something

Tearful sobs and cries

Blankets a vestal shudder

Rocking back and forth

Long cycle closing

Long past cuck-holds present time

Karmic debt aligned

Time for new ways

Courage born daily to use

One step not too soon

Yellow gold sun drops

Peaks over moon cheeks

Sun rises a smile

I dont know if there is karma per se but I know I have had odd things happen that dont make sense and I hope by trying to practice right livelihood where and when I can, any karmic debt is being paid off. All the best to you and your loved ones.

I'd certainly like to pay off my Karmic debt.

What powerful images I felt when I read this poem. I felt that I was traveling through a struggle and death and reaching a moment of peace and rebirth. Well written. Jamie
