One Voice Heard in the Wilderness
The Magnitude of One Voice
The wilderness of this modern world, an empty vastness in its reality,
All seems focused upon selfish claims, as exclusive, its impunity.
May one small voice be shared, is time for change, removing all shame,
Could these timely words be heard, as a new start, without any blame?
Should not we all stand together, as David against a Goliath of hate,
Must we be doomed to a life of servitude, our times, as chance, or fate?
Will the history of humanity to record, in future times, our losing stance,
As each participant reels and rolls about in their on incessant dance?
How many with the talents of a Michelangelo or a Leonardo, to be born,
Will a comparable Beethoven or Tchaikovsky, their loss, ours to mourn?
A new Galileo or Columbus, so brave and innovators, of a world of hope,
If these are lost, then who will serve to save us from this tragedy, its scope?
One voice of a lone and stirring orator, as in Churchill or Roosevelt 's refrain,
History's champions, gave their all in times of need, in sunshine, or in rain.
A strength in uniting, and our all standing up to tyranny's dreadful demands,
As a song of bravery and of compassion, to be spread throughout the lands.
A single sound, a lone domino to stir the rest, carried afar, a message, the best,
Be strong to insure the future's blessed, through thoughtful means, its manifest.
Our hands hold this worlds new joyous fate, we must all decide, the time is late,
A new tomorrow will be brighter on this date, giving us a just cause to celebrate!
