Cell Phone vs My Personal Space..

Sometimes you just can't keep a low profile...

Oh Great ! Now I have to explain my actions....
Oh Great ! Now I have to explain my actions.... | Source

Don't even think about getting in my space..

People with cell phones can be very rude...

And they will continue to constantly intrude...

Some talk so loud and no matter the place...

You have to give up your personal space...

Each phone has a ring, that has a custom sound..

Like One Direction, Maroon, or a barking hound....

Ever stand behind one in the grocery line ?

It happens to me each and everytime...

Well the other day was the piece de resistance..

Just coming home from a really bad day..

I stopped at the grocery to buy a fine wine...

There was only one register open at the time...

A guy standing in front of me ..

Took a call from a woman you see..it wasn’t his wife .

as anyone could tell..and he boasted about how he lives in hell...

and how he was going to leave his wife and end the stress and all the strife..

He said see you tomorrow my sexy devil..and hung up to answer another call..

Oh hi honey, I had to work late..no haven’t seen or heard from that other woman

I told you it was over, she had a crush on me..I never gave her the time of day...

He went on telling her how he was not the cheating kind..

and I thought I would go out of my mind..

This affair I thought should come to a head....

So I leaned over his shoulder and loudly said...

Hey lover !!!!....why don’t you just come back to bed..?

tsmog...how could anyone even conceive that I make this stuff up..HOWEVER....I do write from the "round" corners of my mind about how I conceive what I experience on a daily basis...

Awsome. I must have chuckled and giggle all the way to another cup'pa early morning coffe and back again. Wonderful does not describe and there cannot be any criticism as laughter did echo the neighborhood. Thank you for a witty, practical, and brilliant observation of today's oddities . . . well . . . are not odd anymore. Nice!

Omigosh! I'm still laughing. Your poems never disappoint, kj.

That's totally something that I would do, even if I weren't you (I've done similar, even as a child). The poor wife! She's got a hard job, but not as hard as his will be once he gets home tonight.

Hello my poolside beauty queen KJ - I always love how you walk the walk and talk the talk - your initials really should be KJnoBS - lol lol

We are still experiencing our January thaw but it's still too early for this lakeside beauty to go poolside in his lake - that probably won't happen until May but I had two nice walks today - one for myself around the bay of the lake and one where my cat walked me - Mister Gabriel walks me around the neighborhood like he owns the place - lol

Just finished my slow cooker beef stew with garlic, onions, gravy , potatoes and carrots and I am off for the weekend to do some spring cleanning (not 2013, I am still working on 2012 -lol) and I will probably make this movie night - I watch all of my dvds on this laptop with my headphones - it makes for intimate cinema - I am sending you big hugs and high fives from your 3 adoring Canadians at lake erie time ontario 7:54pm

Thanks for the permission, and I got a good giggle about the 'four' cheeks, you are soooo right in that. Perhaps 'talking to the glutes' will help me out with my backbone :-)

    • kj force profile imageAUTHOR

      kjforce

      5 years ago from Florida

cherylone...yes you may use that saying...and as far as turning the cheeks..you only have four of them, so how many times can you turn ? keep that up and you'll screw yourself into the ground......the two on your face..and your "glutes" ( backside)..so the other saying is ( as you walk away swaying) talk to the " glutes"..backatcha for HNY..

I love those sayings--great way to look at things! I tend to turn the other cheek (a few too many times as my kids put it), but I suppose I should get a bigger backbone, mind if I use that saying? Hope you have a great New Year...

This poem is awesome! I love the rhythm and flow. I find it rude and annoying when people are talking so loudly on their cell phones. Another thing that I find rude is when a customer is at a store at the register waiting to pay their items and they're on that cell phone. I see this all the time. Instead of telling the other person that they will call them back, they actually make the associate wait. Happy Holidays to you.
